Natasha Henstridge
Natasha Tonya
Henstridge - born August 15, 1975 - is a Canadian actor from Canada. In 1995,
she rose to the limelight with her debut role in the science-fiction thriller
Species, followed by performances in Species II and Species III. She has
appeared in numerous TV and film productions which include Maximum Risk (1996).
The Whole Nine Yards (2000). The Whole Ten Yards (2004). Ghosts of Mars (1901),
She Spies(2002-2004), Eli Stone (2008–2009) and Would Be Kings (2008). In the
second, she received the Gemini Award to Best Actress. She has been starring on
the CBC Television series Diggstown since the year 2019. Henstridge was born in
Springdale, Newfoundland and Labrador on the 15th of August 1974 to Helen
Henstridge, a homemaker, as well as Brian Henstridge a construction manager and
business owner. She grew up in Fort McMurray, Alberta, with her younger
brother, Shane. At age 14 Henstridge participated in the Casablanca Modeling
Agency's Look of the Year contest and was crowned the first third. She moved to
Paris next year to pursue her modeling ambitions. The first cover she wore was
in French, Cosmopolitan at age 15. Henstridge continued to be featured on
magazine covers. She also did television commercials with products like Old
Spice, Olay, Lady Stetson and Lady Stetson. Once her modeling career was well
established, Henstridge started doing commercials and eventually decided she
wanted to act.
